Otto Software Partner Taipei The German-Taiwan joint venture OTTO Chailease Mail Order Ltd. was founded in Taipei in June 1997. The company merges the Otto Group's competence in distance selling with Chailease's market know-how and has succeeded in establishing itself as a mail-order company, offering high-quality fashionable textiles and life-style articles for customers. The OTTO Software Parnter Taipei Ltd. was founded in Taipei in Jan 2004. The company was an IT department in OTTO Chailease and was separated to an individual business unit under OTTO. OSP Taipei provides system development and maintenance services to individual OTTO companies. The system is called AMOS (Asian Mail Order System). It is based on Mail order experience of OTTO for more than 50 years. The system experience from big“ OTTO-, Spiegel-, 3-Suisses- systems is carried over to a system for small and middle size distance selling companies. The design was made to a system, which needs low investment in hardware and system software.
AMOS includes experience from pilot applications for some small mail order companies in Europian and Indian companies. AMOS has been working in different countries in Asia, America and Europe since 1997. Personal experience of the developers from applications in Germany, Japan, US, UK, Korea, China, Poland, Hungaria, France and Italy.
